Holy it's been awhile since I updated this, a lot has changed, I had to fill it with gas once.. now that we're caught up

Picked up a set of 37x12.50R17 Cooper Discoverer STT so I can finally take my rollers off

Installed those today and few months ago I replaced the flares that got stolen.

You can see how much further forward the front axle sits now with the longer control arms

I can do some bumper trimming now and it can turn again

Not really an update but just random info, so far the only things left for the truck are the rockers, cab corners, drive shaft hanger bearing and drop bracket, steering shaft, steering box, and windshield, once all of that is done, ever single component of this truck has been replaced with OEM or stronger than OEM parts, it's going to be bullet proof for about a week when I'm finally done before winter, who knows, maybe even two weeks trouble free, wishful thinking I know, but.. one can dream?

    Just kidding, I don't dream, that's why I have a dodge, I am failure.

    Re: Project: Kuntry Gurl

I've been crunching down trying to get the rockers and cab corners done before winter, got a lot of it cut out already, the outer rocker is almost ready to be tacked in place, I need to figure out what portion of the inner rocker I'm removing (where I'm making the cut), and then I can get in there with a wire wheel to remove as much surface rust as possible from the existing metal that's left, anything I can't reach with the wheel is going to be sanded by hand, treating the entire inside with rust inhibitor primer, a few coats of rust paint, and then a final clean up where it's going to be welded. I'm hoping to have all of the cutting, wire wheel, and hand sanding surface rust done by today so I can lay the rust inhibitor primer down and let it cure over night before I spray the rust paint tomorrow morning.

I'm also going to be trimming the front bumper but saving the factory rounded corner piece to weld back on further towards the front to clear the 37's but still retain a factory look, so essentially I'm cutting a triangle out, moving the rounded corner piece up, welding back in place to increase the angle of the front bumper wheel well area. Everything I see online, people just hack off a chunk and call it a day and that harsh edge on the bumper drives me crazy, I hate the look of it, it's so ghetto, so this little bit of effort should go a long way on keeping things upper class in terms of my ghetto mods.

Here's where Travis and I left off yesterday

After these rockers and cab corners are done, the only things left before winter are the rear brake shoes because the parking brake won't hold the truck in place anymore, drive shaft hanger bearing and I bought a drop bracket for the new one so it lasts longer this time, and a windshield because the crack going across is blinding in the winter when the sun hits it. Only other things I have going on is trying to figure out why my belt is squealing at random, I'm not sure if it's just dirt or if it's a bad pulley because it only happens at random so I want to look into that, I need to install my intake that I painted years ago and never ended up installing because I hated the blue filters it came with, I now have black filters for it. I need to finish installing the BullyDog and Pillar Pod, That's pretty much it really, everything else is done, Oh and I need to reinstall an aftermarket stereo since everything was stolen, I'm rocking the stock stuff I kept in a box after upgrading, my hoarding came in handy this time. I also need to put the new light bar on with some security bolts so it can never be removed again, as well as install the rear flush mount reverse lights.

If this weather holds up, I might also do a spray in bed liner before winter but looking at the time frame for the rockers, that's probably not going to happen.

I forgot about this, back when I first got the truck before I had my 35's, drifting on the news
