I'm sorry to hear that... Before my tune last Sunday I got E85 from spirit mountain and it turned out to be E33. Had to run to another gas station during my tune and get more, which turned out to be E60

Moral of the story is... Spirit mountain either had winter blend gas, or sucked balls that week. Test it before you use it.

It's been bang on e70 every time I've filled up.

Lowest I tested was e61 at spirit mountain and the highest was e86 in minni. I will say that after running the pump e I had weird black shit on my pump sock.

I bought 68 gallons for 124usd. Paid 53cdn in duty/taxes for those interested. It's highly unlikely you'll find anything under e70 at a pump, and I've read that around e50 you have most of the cooling/knock suppression benefits.

I've never ran higher than e70 in my car and I've done some terrible, terrible things to it.

I thought that was normal over time with E, no?

Not a chance it came out of the pump at e33. You probably had a bunch of gas in your tank before you put the E in

Lowest I've tested it is e70 and the highest was e87....james made 600hp on e50 in the celica so.....and I never had problems in both my cars running it from the pumps. Talon ran 11.60 and the Nova ran 9.7@140. I have to tell you that most aren't as lucky as me tho.

Well it's very likely cause I found it at both the cenex and holiday stations in spirit to be under e70

Ok so cale drives up to the pump fills his car and looks at the e gauge and expects it to be bang on....you have to test it right from the pump if you want it to be accurate

    Re: Any E85 in town?

Car was on our e70 mix already on the drive down and it caused it to drop to e68.

I was going to say I test it at the pump, with a tube - like nature intended!

Nope in May when I went for my tune. I don't really mind cause my car was tuned on e68 anyway.
