    Project: Bought not Built (C240)

Some of you may remember my old C240 and I maybe kinda sort of bought another one..

I don't have many pictures yet but I'll just get it started with some pictures I took from Instagram.
I'll be doing very minor work, just basic stuff, not going to be going too crazy with this, suspension, wheels, brakes, and then some extra small things as times rolls.

It's the same W203 C240 as my old one but this one has a different trim package, rather then alloy wheels and a CD charger, it comes with a chrome key, heated seats, and a sunroof, I feel it's slightly better for my personal taste then the old one.

I had a box of LEDs I bought for a bunch of other vehicles and figured I could change all these over using the left over LED bulbs I had.

    Halogen rear

Currently I have a truck, three cars, and a motorcycle.

Yes, the old one was a money pit, mostly because it was so beat, it had rust on every corner and was going to be an "easy fix" until I found out it was a in a really bad unclaimed accident and repaired as cheap as possible, this one is really clean and has 93,000km.

I took a picture of the LEDs now that it's dark.

I like to move on actions without thinking about things before hand, but.. heated seats so I had to buy it.

I'm just starting this thread and already I gotta get back to work on the GLI so this is going to stall out for a little bit.

It's not just you, but it's because they have fluted lenses so it makes it look worse than it actually is

Yep, fluted plastic lenses.. Way to go Mercedes.. They have an unreal cutoff for reflectors though, they work really well but I'll polish them another time, for now I'll just rock it all ratty

Re: Project: Bought not Built (C240)

    Removed the air box

    Removed the air filter covers

Some hole saw bits were involed

    Cleaned up the cuts

    Clean filters back in

    All back together

I think it sounds awesome! I cut the holes along the bottom right above the exhaust manifolds to allow additional warm air which should also increase fuel economy on longer drives.
