In order to consider more dates, we would need a dedicated timing and scoring person (non-racer) and someone to take registrations in the AM. If there are any interested volunteers, please let me know!
Ill prob be missing June 5th, and June 25th. I will be in Emo dirt track racing.
dates more or less confirmed?

We actually met last night to finalize dates, pending lot approval. We have 10 dates with best 8 counting for points. We would like to explore having more dates next year if we can find some volunteers to consistently run timing and scoring, take registrations in the am and people able to tow equipment.
Sunday, June 5th
Sunday, June 12th
Saturday, June 25th - Test & Tune
Sunday, July 10th (day after Poker Run)
Sunday, July 17th
Sunday, July 24th (day after Fat Guys Car Show)
Sunday, August 7th
Sunday, August 14th - Autocross Fundraiser
Sunday, September 18th
Sunday, September 25th
Why would you have only the best 8 counting for points? Not much incentive to attend all the events

Most clubs use throw away dates based on the number of events in the season. The idea is to allow people the flexibility of going out of town during the summer and still be able to complete a full points season.
But If someone goes to all 10 then they get to toss there worse 2 times anyways right?
With only 10 events personally I'd only allow one throw away day but that's just me

That's correct, Brian.
The number of throw away dates was voted on at the Autox meeting. You should have come, Cale.
=)

Any updates on locations? Do you have a list of potential lots or lots we have approval to use?
