    A dude from Duluth

    Hey TB people!
Some of you may remember me but the majority probably don't, the name is Jake and I'm one of the founders of a club named D-SCE (Duluth-Superior Car Enthusiasts).

Those of you that remember D-SCE would remember us from our international meet in Grand Marais. Looks like you guys have built a hell of a club here.

Is Marc still running the show or what?

Oh yeah and I drove the boosted Del Sol way back when.
Currently I own a '78 Rabbit, '73 Karmann Ghia and a heap of old bikes. I'll be picking up a nice E21 in July, so there you have it.

    Hey everyone!

    Marc still runs the show.

I will require pictures of the Karmann Ghia and maybe the Rabbit. I've got a super clean MK1 shell if you know anyone looking for one.

Thanks guys, well the Ghia is a project that will never reach fruition sadly, just not enough time available (social worker + own a business + planning a wedding = busy me). So Ghia is getting parted out. It was going to be a bagged, EJ22T swapped beast. The MK1 is still around but not for long, I did a ridiculous amount of work to it and have been struggling to get it running right.

I'll figure out how to post a pic or two.

On the topic of a Grand Marais meet I actually wanted to get in touch with Marc about that. So maybe it will happen.

Apparently I forgot how to do BBcode or the forum doesn't allow it. I attached a pic of the MK1

MK1 is definitely going to be for sale soon. I may sell it as a work-in-progress or I may just push to get it running and painted. Haven't decided but if you are seriously interested let me know.
Cosmetically is where it needs the most work. Hell I may even sell it with the Ronal Turbos (real period correct, not repro) on it.

More pics and an idea on pricing if you wouldn't mind. I ended up buying a supercharged delsol from a fellow forum member.

Blokeswagen, dude I would love to and it was originally my vision but sadly I have to pass the baton. Too much going on these days for such a big project.
I am hoping to sell the entire build.

I have too much tied up in my own projects right now to take on another.... or I would have taken it off your hands.
