Does anyone locally have the tinted euro tail lights installed on their R?

Once the TDI settlement comes through, I'll be doing lighting all around. Thinking BEC R reps for the front and probably cherry red LED rears... You just need a harness and some VCDS coding for the rears I believe. I hate the tail lights that came on North American cars.

Ya, I'm with you on the rears. The LED euro tails look so much better. The coding is going to be the tricky part for me. I see that there is a VCDS alternative out now that is a lot cheaper and has one click options for coding.
I'll post the link in case anyone is interested.

The OBD11 thing is kind of cool. I was thinking about getting it when Paul did his first video. A few other members have the actual Ross Tech Cable, and I think I will stick to that when I get some funds going, or can find used.

Programming really isn't that bad if you can follow tutorials, and kind of remember what you did you reverse it. The new stuff is mostly clicking boxes, where a MK4 you had to create your own number to designate what you want done.
