    Thankgiving Day Cruise

    Brad Folino from Half-Way Motors put together a nice, scenic cruise for Thanksgiving Day. It's a total of 258km or 2 hours 58 minutes not counting any stops. Meet on Monday @ 11am at Tim Hortons on Arthur streer (across from CTC).


    • Drive down Arthur street until HWY 130
    • Down HWY 130 to Barrie Dr.
    • Barrie to River rd
    • River Road to the Stanley
    • Stanley to the Trans Canada HWY
    • Trans Can to Kakabeka, through Kakabeka to 590
    • Take 590 until 595
    • Down 595 to 588
    • HWY 588 through Nolalu to Silver Mountain Station (593 turn-off)
    • 593 down all the way to Middle Falls
    • REST STOP
    • Continue down 593 to HWY 61
    • HWY 61 to HWY 608
    • HWY 608 to HWY 597
    • HWY 597 to HWY 595
    • Follow HWY 595 to HWY 588
    • Take 588 back to the Stanley

    I have company flying down this weekend. I'm going to try and convince them to join lol I hope I can see you all there.

    I've done the border to Devon and back run and that's 2hrs in itself.

    This was the best cruise of the year, hands down! With a 30 car turn out, perfect weather, twisty roads and some great snacks from Half-Way Motors - it couldn't have been better.

    Next year I propose tacos in Grand marais and a blast up highway 1 to ely mn

    It was an amazing cruise. The fall colours was the icing on the cake. Good job to all who organized it.
