Moving to TB for work.. I saw you guys have 2 autox events left before the season is over. Depending on work schedule, I'll definitely come through

I have an Outlander, if that counts lmao Had an 09 Lancer but sold it to get a WRX.

Snow tires and you'll be fine. Plus the crosstrek is junk

As long as you aren't lowered, any car with good winter tires will make it through our winter. Yah, we can get a lot of snow at once, but the whole "you need a truck" is over rated.

These were winter driven without issue for the most part.

Is that golf lowered? I'm lowered, not dumped/stanced but I scrape on steep driveways

    They're both lowered.

If you have coils, raise them up or look for a used front bumper for cheap if you're worried about taking out snow banks. Winter tires are your best bet but honestly, like Cale said you'll be fine... especially in an AWD Lancer. Welcome to Thunder Bay =)

No coils, and I left my springs in Toronto, and no place to DIY cus of an apartment instead of a house with garage.. Im planning to get WS80 for the winter, what shops do you recommend? Thanks, TB is awesome so far =D

Get a extreme winter not a performance winter tire, you'll thank me. And the only tire shop in town is action tire.

I kind of like the look of that Bridgestone WS80. Nice soft tire for ice traction and still wide between the lugs for throwing snow.

The WS80s I got from Action Tire last year are really good, I don't even think I got stuck once last year with them. They handled amazing on the ice and were very predictable and did great in deep snow as well. And that was all with an open diff RWD car, I'm sure with those on your Evo you'll have no problems

Yeah. They are both lowered... quiet a bit.. Not stance nation, but low for sure. A bit more then keyfob between ground and skid plate.

You will be fine with decent tires. Just avoid the wheel well ice chunks.
