    As some of you may have noticed, I temporarily closed the forums this morning in order to perform a site-wide back up and a scripting upgrade. You will now notice when you click on the What's New? tab in the navigation bar, you are brought to the new Activity Stream. This feed shows you everything going on with the forums including when a new post is made, a new thread is created, a picture is posted in an album, etc. The Activity Stream automatically refreshes content once per minute and stops when your page has sat idle for five minutes. If you want to see the What's New? tab as it did before - showing the latest unread posts - you can do so by clicking New Posts in the sub-navigation bar.

    Finally, I'd like to implement a Garage section for the forum if I can raise 115USD (click the Donate tab in the navigation bar above) where each user can add pictures and details about their vehicle, modifications, dyno graphs, 1/4 mile times, etc.

    Enjoy,

    Marc

    When you click the 'What's New' tab, do you want it to default to the Activity Stream or New Posts (like it was before)? Let me know what you prefer.

    Haha never knew it existed. Marc can you make it so that when you click a thread it brings you to where you last visited the page? Its annoying to have to open the thread then go to the last page and find the most recent post.

    There's actually two arrows;

    Thread Title : appears beside the title of threads containing new replies, click it to be brought to your last un-read post (disappears after post has been viewed).
    Username : always beside the user name of the last poster, brings you to the last post in the thread.

    I prefer the first option for keeping up to date on posts I haven't read and the second for reviewing threads I already have seen.
