Cool on the 370 projectors though. Similar to yours i believe Dave. With some shield mods and a clear lens they're pretty potent. I'll digg up the hid planet reference later...
    Way to be lazy...

I hope you don't mind me putting these up for Kevin...

Kind of curious, what's with the flare up right above the steps?

    Re: Hey!

The flare tends to be from holes on the shield near the solenoid. fixable with some aluminum tape.. like this the holes cause light bleed like that.

    Re: Hey!

oh haha, thx for the info i always thought it was because of the angle not being 0 degrees as that was what i was told by the person that did my retrofit for me.

I actually have a quick question for you kevin.. after installing my headlights, my DRL no longer work because of my setup being bi-xenon (apparently). Do you know of any way to fix this?

    Thanks

    Re: Hey!

Ya the rotational angle on the driver's side is off by a bit. I figured it was a shield issue similar to the mini H1's but not familiar with 370 projectors. As for the DRL's I would figure it has to do with the harness and where your DRL's were before. If they were where you low beam was/projector is I would think it definitely has something to do with the harness, though I may be wrong. You can always just turn on your lights during the day if it bugs you

    Re: Hey!

My drl was where my high beams were (inner reflector bowl). What I was guessing was that not enough power is being sent to the ballasts? But I'm a complete noob to this soni could b completely wrong... I used to turn my lights on during the day before, but I sometimes end up walking to a dead car because I forget to turn them back off haha...

    Re: Hey!

Only thing I can think of that would cause that is that whoever did the retrofit completely cut the high beam power to use for the projector solenoid, but that wouldn't make sense since you can just tap the wires... Do your halogen highs turn on along with the bixenon when you put on your high beams on? You should be able to run quad highs with the separate high/low beam setup. At least that's how mine is running. Check out HIDPlanet.com. You might find someone with a similar situation as you.

    Re: Hey!

My halogens r not plugged into my harness. I have two separate connections that both go to the projector. One that goes to the ballast, and one that goes to the high beam harness if i remember correctly. I will look into that site, thanks!

    Re: Hey!

High beam splitter i would say. will reply more after class

    - - - Updated - - -

Are your highbeams where your projectors are now? If so, you would have to re-wire your DRL's to hit your halogen reflectors which would be your stock low beams now.. If it's the other way around (bi-x projectors in the low beam area)..

Either way, your harness should be something like this :

So you can have halogen high beams as well as halogen DRL's as well as bixenon high beams on. Your HID low beams should be off with DRL's, and the DRL's should be off when your low beam HIDs are on. You should also, at the end of the day, have 4 high beams. 2 halogen, 2 hid.

I believe Dave up there with the M3 has a similar setup.
