TBAC General Meeting

There is a Thunder Bay Autosport Club meeting tonight at 7pm. It is an open meeting which means anyone is welcome to attend and give input. TBAC members are encouraged to attend. The meeting will be in one of the rooms usually located on the side of the building closer to Arthur St. If you can't find us just ask the girl at the bar what room the Autosport Club meeting is in and she will tell you as the room tends to chage month to month.

When: The first Wednesday of each month

A friendly reminder that tomorrow night at 7pm is the TBAC General Meeting at the DaVinci. It is also the last one until the fall. If you plan on autoxing this year, it's highly encouraged that you attend as we will be voting on throw away days, discussing the possible use of Old Fort as a course location and it's a great time to get your membership and hand in your completed registration form, car classing worksheet, self-tech form and annual waiver.

When stacey did autocross the guy doing tech. Did some sort of foot pushoff the tire ....I'm assuming to check the front end. Then shook the battery. And then stepped on the brake pedal and told me the brake lights don't work. So I had to tell him to turn key on.

Not to bash anything but from what I saw. Tech was a joke

A few years ago CASC implemented a self-tech form, which our club has used since last year, and is a nation wide practice. We of course recommend having your car inspected by a competent mechanic. It is the responsibility of each competitor to make sure their car is safe. At the event we check basics like battery is securely tied down, no leaking fluids, tire tread, etc.
