That is one example... There are a lot more over the the valve train area with shavings that look like they would fall off. I Dont expect honda to polish every one perfect, just though it would be a little cleaner job considering it was one of their upper end engines at the time.

I know its not exactly porting cale, didn't know the term companies use for cleaning up that area after casting.

I also know displacement doesnt have to do with revving. I was under the the impression the B16A3 had a shorter stroke and liked to rev more than the B18 series. My LSv did rev to hell, just getting a few hundred more out of this one. Not a huge deal, just sayin.

Indeed the B18 would make more power... more displacement, more TQ, more exhaust gasses through the turbo, faster spool. But then again, Im not spending thousands to build another motor to get 20 more HP. My power goals should be easily attainable on this motor and turbo. if I happen to blow this motor, yes it will be replaced by a B18.

Cale, the LSV had 11.8:1 compression... not a bolt on, lol.

Kevin is right, I didn't buy my integra back yet, he is asking too much for it.

Anyways, not here to argue guys, but I appreciate input.

Heli-coiled the valve cover stud back in, all good now.

New black door panels look a lot better than the grey ones with ugly blue fabric. Got the interior half cleaned up. Got a new center console from bucks to go in as well.

IACV was missing the double oring. Good thing I have a pile of parts from my integras still. Tightened up the throttle cable too. Idle is all better.

Kevin! This car has some weird ass non HID retrofit projectors, 1 has a burnt out bulb, therefore we need to talk. Or else im gunna grab some stock ones from bucks as well.

Cheap projectors and broken bulbs make me excited? If he was into trying an Acura TL retro maybe.. I'd get on board with that..

this is sooo as backwards... so confused

also how would you know honda did a shitty job of " porting " by just taking the valve cover off.. u cant see any of the intake exhaust ports with the valve cover off.
