It's a very simple mod, you guys are thinking way to big and in the wrong direction. Most people wouldn't even notice it.

I'm pretty much done doing anything to the car for this year except for an oil change. Even if I get my headers I'll wait until spring to install them.

I wonder, does Subaru have your back?

Took the car in to today find out how much of a fat pig it really is and some other goodies

I'm thinking tomorrow may be one of the very last, if not the last day the car will be out for the season. I left home this morning and it was -4 but even with it being in the garage it decided it didn't like the cold even after it was all warmed up.

BMW flashlight. The socket it plugs into can be converted into a regular 12V socket using an adapter

BMW for the win, always thinking about their drivers. I wouldn't be surpised if it had an umbrella stashed in there somewhere. What did it weigh in at?

Rolls Royce phantoms have umbrellas in the doors lol. Being German I'd think there's a map to Poland in the glove box lol

My old 3 series had one but the bulb was burnt out. It's quite hard sourcing the bulbs for them.

Won't know for a few more hours but i'm assuming around 3400lb, plus or minus 25 pounds. BMW lists the curb weight at 3415lb but that is with a driver, full tank of gas and 1 suitcase. I took it in with 1/2 tank and I'm assuming I'm slightly lighter than the average driver weight BMW used. There has been some very slight weight reduction although it's probably negated by the addition of a few other parts.

    - - - Updated - - -

And the results are in. As I feared my car is extremely, and I mean extremely obese. 3538lb with 165lb driver and 1/2 tank of gas. I guess the curb weight is without the driver.

The weight distribution is as follows:
    924 LF 870 RF
    860 LR 884 RR

50.7/49.3 front to rear. 48.9% cross weight = (LR+RF)/total weight. Very pleased with these results and I have to say Shawn did an amazing job.

Also had Shawn do the alignment and he set it to exactly the specifications I asked for.

    Front
    -2.2 degree camber
    0" toe
Caster was set to max on the plates, didn't need to measure.

    Rear
    -1.8 degree camber
    1/16" toe in, each side

I still have quite a bit of room to move the plates in for more negative camber, which I will be doing for autox.

I took the car out for a little test drive and it handles amazing. There is lots of grip, probably more than I can use on the street legally, which is what tracks and autox are for

you've done a lot to that car in just 1 year! at this pace you should be able to have a quad turbo setup by next year, why not?
