Now I'm confused... How was that about personal skills, I specifically mentioned driving skills in the first line and no car was mentioned...

Maybe we could get a mod separate this discussion into it's own thread?

Um ya you haven't raced out of town yet. how can you be so certain??? What if you went out of town and just pumped them all? I have been to events out of town where I thought to myself that I had no chance...you can toss all that thinking out the window when you line up with your helmet on ready to go. you'll see

No need for a new thread we are good. I'll stop...

Why no track events Kat?! It's the track driving school in May, it will help for autox too

When is the MAP event? As you probably know I can't usually do July/August events

The whole point of our debate is that learning to autox on street tires is more effective and will result in proper skill development better then learning on r compounds.Your saying a begginer switching to rcomps will learn to be an autoslalom champ faster then if they ran on street tires for a few seasons. I don't agree - that's my opinion and have no where near as much expirience so ill leave it at that. There is no question rcomps are a good upgrade, if not the best or that you won't learn anything by running them. You will get better regardless with seat time.
