Actually, they do lie sometimes lol. It could be as simple as the correction factors set wrong.

So we do have a functional dyno in Thunder Bay? How does one get in contact with Ed?

Dbptuning.com or maperformance.com. No offense but I wouldn't use Ed for sport compact tuning.

He might just want to do some pulls to see what the car is making, if that is the case then Ed's dyno is great!

I knew a guy who put his car on there just for numbers.......it didn't go well. I'm not bashing the guy I'm just saying my experiences weren't the greatest.

Just for numbers. All I really want to do is tune the knock out of Thunder Bay pump without getting a ticket.

    Re: Eds Dyno

I'd rather do some pulls under load on a dyno than on the Express Way. My canned tune is for 94 and I've pulled more timing than I probably need to.

    Re: Eds Dyno

I know I asked this once in the other thread but does anyone know if Ed's dyno can log boost? I would really like to see how much power the car is making and set up my boost controller properly and it's a bit hard to do on the street.

    Re: Eds Dyno

I just chatted with Ed. ..he can plot on a graph your hp and tq numbers for a set boost level on paper. You wouldn't be able to plug your program into his system and run the car.....

    Re: Eds Dyno

I have no interest in plugging in a program, just a pressure port/sensor to measure the boost level with rpm but i guess it's not that important. Does he charge by the hour? What type of dyno is it? Can he measure rpm with the hp/tq numbers? Thanks Lorne!

    Re: Eds Dyno

Charges by the hour yep....hp and tq curves are plotted by rpm air fuel ratios measured as well...i believe its a mustang dyno....
