MAP Proving Grounds 2013 at Brainerd International Raceway

First event is happening June 21-23, second one is September 6-8. There is Drag racing, auto-x, drifting and road course (HPDE).

I know I'm going to the first one for sure but won't be able to make it until Friday night. I really want to do the road course and a couple passes at the drag strip.

Who else is planning on going and what events are you planning on doing?

A few of us were talking about checking it out. If I were to attend, I'd do the auto-x and possibly the road course. In fact, I really want to go! But I just wish it was on a different weekend... Mud Nationals are coming to Minnesota that weekend.

I thought you had trouble getting the car to go in a straight line?

BRZ's are too slow or they just can't drive in a straight line?

I know mine can't, try as I might the tail is always out.

I know I have trouble with mine. If I had a set of worn out tires I would go try out the drifting event

If you've never been on a road course all I can say is you're in for a very good time.

Also if we're allowed to at the event I wouldn't mind giving some people rides on the road course if they don't want to take their car out!

I'm officially signed up for 10 - 20min track sessions. 6 on Saturday, 4 on Sunday for a total of 3 hours 20 minutes of track time

If you're up for it I can take you for a ride or even let you go for one session, as long as you don't break anything. (this applies to anyone coming, if I'm feeling super nice)

I'm sorry to disappoint you but when you modify your car beyond bolt ons you need to tune it. I can't control the fact that the tuner is booked and I don't feel like popping another engine
