    Project:My Fair Lady

Thought i would start a Thread for my 03' Nissan 350z/FairladyZ in Brickyard Red,Performance trim. Goal is a smooth looking Z, with a bit of added Hp to back it up with. Goal (for now) is maybe 400-450 hp, with supercharger after bolt-ons. my Weapon-R intake came in the mail yesterday, was gonna wait till spring...but couldnt help myself..installed it today,a day before she goes into storage for the winter.next spring/summer hope to have a nice set of concave black rims, exhaust, coilovers to start with and go from that, trying to keep my Neo-Chrome/Titanium theme for performance parts where i can.

What are you going with for a supercharger?

You should go twin turbo instead

I had a Z last summer, but sold it because I couldn't stand having a car for 2 people that you couldn't fit anything in the back. (And I missed my hondas) Heavy car, but handles quite well, lots of suspension design supporting it.
    ALL THE HONDAS!!!

I thought about TT's.... but i wanna keep it simple and go with a Vortech or Stillen Supercharger....way too lazy to deal with Turbo upgrades and everything else u gotta do for them (I know, and agree Turbos are always better)

You plan on getting to 450hp with just a supercharger and other mild bolt ons? I wish you the best of luck dude. Try 350. What are you planning on doing re: body stuff to stand out from other Zs?

Nice car. Look forward to seeing the build. Those motors scare me after seeing a g35 with blown head gasket and another one needed two motors cause of sever burning of oil. Both low kms too

    Re: Project:My Fair Lady

-yeah 450hp,might be a little out there(your prob right 300-350 for the near future).... but we'll see how things go, maybe V8 Titan/LS swap hahaha... no in-stone plans yet, worry about bolt-ons first and go from there.
-Body wise, not quite sure yet,on the fence about a Carbon hood, prob going to get a front lip for sure. also on the fence about getting a GT-style wing(kinda like it without a wing/spoiler). more than likely going to stay away from full body-kit unless i come across something i love. Its gonna need some paint-repairs too, gonna keep it Brickyard Red,love the color, plus its rare (only made that color for 2003)
-Ive heard horrible things about the HR ver of the VQ motor (2006+). read the non Hi-rev motors have been alot more solid, been loving it so far,see how it fairs with more upgrades later.

greddy gracer kit and enkei rpf1's with KW or fortune auto coils is what I'd probably do with a lot of money and a 350z haha. You could definitely make 450 with a supercharger. I've read a couple builds with vortech superchargers making around 460 at the wheels on 11psi. I'm not really sure how extensive of a build that is but it is possible with a supercharger.

I was so hoping i could find a picture of two exhausts fighting each other. Kind of like duelling banjos but duelling exhausts instead no luck though...

LS3!! LS3!! LS3!! do it!!, jk but I'm on the edge about a GT wing as well for my car, they just point to rice but i love em. Also don't even bother with a carbon fiber hood unless you really want to buy one. Your car is sick though especially with the neo-chrome I'd love to see it closer in person someday
