Mine still has the numbers on it from test and tune. This dirt road (short as it is) really stops me from caring about clean anymore.

It hasn't been a good year for me and getting to race the car. I have a wedding to attend on every good weekend to race. I MAY possibly be able to make Friday of Dragfest in August but otherwise I think my only option will be to try rock falls this year.
If i ever get another transmission for my car.

im hoping for mid to low 14s at 150mph++ and hope to get my 60fts under 2.8 seconds. im spectating this year. not breaking the car to go slower. once you go on a real track terrace is useless lol. fun to watch though

Love when people complain about tracks and say the tracks aren't good enough for there cars,
our best 60 ft last year was put down at terrace bay,

assuming you have some sort of slick , just learn how to set up your suspension and you can race anywhere

Terrace Bay is an ice rink.: http://youtu.be/ccL6PgftFN8

Car was on a full slick.
Its not the start line that's the issue, it's after the 1/8th where all the turbo cars make full boost.

I've been racing there for 7 years. The track is shit. And yes when you have a rear wheel drive car with a 30x16 slick yea of course it will hook. Try running a 2200lb fwd turbo car with 650+whp. I spin 4th with a 26x8.5 slick. I go can to brainered and hook second. I've never ran slower at Bir then my fastest at terrace. Its a full second faster.
Yes 90 % of the people on this forum it won't effect. But it does effect some of the faster cars.

It's not only fwd cars that suffer. I watched Conway's car do an 1/8th mile burnout and cross the finish line drifting because the track couldn't hold the power when the turbo hit.

ok so terrace is shit for turbo guys then. settled....

im just looking at if from the random people that read this forum and then start taking posts to heart and don't want to go try racing anywhere local,
all you hear on here is terrace sucks, go to bir , auto cross sucks go to map

I go racing in the states all the time, and yea terrace bay has its flaws, but you gotta make it work and you have to support it.

otherwise we might as well all be old retired losers that don't want anything in thunder bay to be developed cause the noise is to loud.

    Re: Terrace Bay Dragfest 2014

I've done a 1.4 60 foot at terrace bay but then again i've spun the whole track.....

run all the street cars till noon and cut them off......spend the time on traction compound aftenoon....thats all i got for a thought in the better direction.

    Got to support this!!!!

Noon on Friday lol. Conway the car you're running is awd so traction isn't an issue

    Re: Terrace Bay Dragfest 2014

I have awd and I spun through 3rd into 4th....street tires mind you...but come on! the car wasn't even making 550hp when it did that. There is no track prep after 1/8th mile I'm assuming...if they did at least a little bit of prep up top, it wouldn't be so damn terrifying lol.

    Re: Terrace Bay Dragfest 2014

From what Im told they have a new glue for this year....same glue that BIR uses. I run the same 60fts in the Rock as I do in Terrace without any suspension changes. Just my opinion here but if the consensus is that the TerraceBay surface is crap then guys should work on their setup to get the car to hook.....if it hooks in Terrace the 60fts at BIR or the Rock should be fanfreakintastic lol
