Any one know where to get a half decent cooling system for a decent price or where a good place to get it repaired in town

    Re: Cooling system

Could be burning coolant. Maybe the head gasket.

    Re: Cooling system

If it's not leaking externally I doubt it's the rad. Why not find the problem before asking for prices on parts you may not need?

    Re: Cooling system

That's the thing for all I know the leek could be evaporating from any heat externally from the block and what not depending on the size of hole.but with no garage I can't take a look at the underneath cuz I can't get it up

Lol I have the same problem, they make pills for that. You could rent a pressure tester and try that. What kind of car is this anyway

    Re: Cooling system

    Is it a v6 or 4cyl?

If its the v6...take off the fan on the driver side and look at the lower coolant hose, they tend to dry-rot the plastic of the rad there...JB weld and some radiator leak stop and it was good for 3 years...

If its the 4cyl, it could be head gasket...

OK will keep that in mind it actually left a puddle at work and it looks like it may be the water pump

    Re: Cooling system

Why not take it to a shop and get it pressure tested then just change whatever ends up being the issue yourself?
